Boating/Fishing
Lake Don Pedro-30 miles / 50 minutes down the hill. New Melones Resevoir-18.6 miles East on hwy49, 35 minute drive Tulloch Resevoir-22 miles South of Jamestown, 30 minute drive Cherry Lake, a secluded forest lake. 44 miles East, and worth the 1hr, 42min drive. Pinecrest Lake, 31.2 miles up hwy 108, 43 minutes to this scenic and popular alpine lake. Skiing Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, is only 33 miles up the hill. A mere 50 minutes from your front door to a winter wonderland. Tuolumne County’s art scene: Three local theater companies offer more than 25 plays each year, with over 500 performances: Sierra Repertory theater in Sonora, Fallon House Theater in Columbia, Stage 3 Theater also in Sonora. GETTING TO MOUNTAIN VISTA
Mountain Vista Ct. is just 1/3 mile off Hwy 108. If you're coming from the West, simply take Hwy 120, and continue up the hill to 108. You'll pass Jamestown (downtown), and continue up the hill until you get to Golf Links Road (It's just past the Miner's Motel on the left). Take a left on Golf Links, and a right on McKibbon Dr. Look for Mountain Vista on your immediate left.
